Chris Sorensen is a thirty-five year industry professional who began his career as a top Realtor in the North Orange County, CA market. After five years he transitioned into lending focusing on takeout financing for builders. With over fifteen different builder relationships Chris built a team of originators which dominated both the OC and Inland Empire markets first as a Broker and then as an Independent Mortgage Banker.

Chris believes in being involved in his community and was a City Councilmember and Mayor of his city. He was tasked by former Commissioner of Real Estate Jeff Davi, in partnership with the California Community College Chancellor, to author a book teaching buyers how to buy a home the right way entitled; Financial Sense To White Picket Fence. This book and subsequent course was taught in all 110 California Community Colleges and was used by numerous California cities as a requirement for their Down Payment Assistance funds.
